We are competing for our 5th Annual EF Voluntary Carbon Market Rankings in the categories of Best Forest Carbon Project Developer in the Voluntary Market and Best Individual Offsetting Project with the AR Life Corridors Project. See why we deserve your vote once again.
Voting began for the EF Annual Voluntary Carbon Market Rankings, an Environmental Finance award that lists developers of globally outstanding projects in the voluntary carbon market.
We are in search of our fifth award and have highlighted some key points to explain why we deserve your vote for the categories of ‘Best Developer of Forestry Carbon Projects’ and Best Individual Offsetting Project, by the AR Life Corridors Project.
Projects in several NBS (Nature-based Solutions) categories
We work with conservation projects in the Amazon, reforestation and restoration of degraded forests, and sustainable agricultural management.
Our solutions meet the concept defined by the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN), and are actions to protect, manage and restore natural ecosystems in a sustainable, effective way, considering different complexities and overall human well-being and biodiversity protection.
The positive impact of our projects
To accelerate our growth and expand our portfolio of environmental services, we merged in July 2021 with the Ambipar Group, a leader in environmental management.
We signed agreements with strategic players in the energy and agro-industrial sectors to start our operations in the markets of Peru, Paraguay, Argentina, Colombia, and Uruguay. This expansion will include REDD+ projects for the conservation of native forests, sustainable intensification projects in beef cattle and agricultural areas, and restoration of degraded landscapes.
In partnership with the Institute for Ecological Research (IPÊ – www.ipe.org.br), we began a part of the AR Project Corridors for Life, a reference project of large-scale reforestation, where ecological corridors are formed from the restoration of the natural vegetation of the Brazilian Atlantic Forest. The project aims to promote connectivity between forest fragments remaining in the Paranapanema Region in western São Paulo and generate reforestation carbon credits verified by VERRA.
The Voluntary Carbon Markets Rankings is organized by the Environmental Finance magazine, one of the most important communication vehicles with an emphasis on environmental asset markets. The award lists the best developers of globally outstanding carbon projects in the voluntary market and is holding its 13th awards round.
By voting, you contribute to the recognition of excellence of important organizations and carbon projects.
