Scenario

The climatic emergency and the environmental crisis that we are experiencing gains more and more notoriety. If it was a hot topic, it took even more strength in the face of the pandemic scenario.

What is most striking is that, even though the environment has responded quickly to the change in habits experienced as a result of measures to combat contagion in COVID-19, CO2 levels should resume and continue to increase with the return of economic activities around the world.

In addition, pressure from investors and international demands on compliance with emissions reduction and forest conservation commitments are of concern to executives. The country’s current negative perception of the Amazon may mean damage to the Brazilian business sector, including for the development of business and fundamental projects for the country.

Sustainable future

It is in our hands to use the efforts, resources and knowledge we have to foster and strengthen good environmental, social and governance practices to transform the Brazilian economy into a model of circular, low carbon and inclusive economy.

Therefore, we are happy to join the movement for sustainability and proud to be part of the change alongside organizations with the same purpose. Let us together build a sustainable future for the country and for the next generations!
